There are tons of possibilities at the library: free events, kids activities, indoor play areas, and of course, tons of books to check out. Did I mention the library is free?!

Llama Llama Time to Share by Anna Dewdney

Lllama llama books are such fun rhyming books with cute messages. This book teaches the valuable lesson about sharing in an easy to understand way.

Race Car Count by Rebecca Kai Dotlich

Practice counting cars that are ready to race in this fun and fast paced book.

Jabari Jumps  by Gaia Cornwall

Jabari is ready to jump off the diving board. He took all the swimming lessons and has prepared for this moment. However, sometimes things don’t go quite the way we expect them to. This book teaches a valuable lessons about facing fears. 

The Fort by Laura Perdew

A prince and a pirate have different ideas for a fort in the woods. This charismatic book shows how plans can change if we use teamwork.

The Rabbit Listened by Cori Doerrfeld

When Taylor is sad that something happened, all the animals come to give support. Taylor doesn’t feel like doing any of the things the animals suggest until… the rabbit comes. This cute book shows children the true meaning of empathy.  

The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister

A fun book to say ‘no!’ to. When the bus driver takes a break, the reader’s job is to just make sure not to let the pigeon drive the bus! Easy enough, right? 

Officer Buckle and Gloria by Peggy Rathmann

A fun picture book with many illustrations to giggle at. Officer Buckle’s safety talks are a bit of a snooze fest until he brings Gloria along.
